    It’s too bad NIH doesn’t see fit to increase the funding for these tough cases, and also for others that may not be so mysterious; for instance, ME, from which my daughter suffers.

      I agree. I know they’ve expanded to include a few more doctors across the country but it’s still very limited. There should be programs in every state. The research hospitals don’t even seem that interested in rare cases, which is sad.
